Yacht Charters are a very secure and private holiday option offering not only an all-inclusive relaxing “villa afloat” but peace of mind for charter guests. The yachts themselves must be very well maintained and exceptionally clean in order for the systems to all run optimally, and to always be ready for the next charter guests to arrive. In this time of the Covid-19 pandemic we want to share with you some extra cleaning measures that yacht crew are taking in order to keep all guests safe.
All yacht crew are following stringent hand washing guidelines. Every yacht surfaces is being constantly wiped down with bleach solution including hand rails & door knobs or handles. Beach and bath towels being laundered immediately after use in hottest water. Clean glass with each beverage refill.
Anna Black of sailing yacht EMILY MORGAN shared: “Between guests we disinfect every single surface & corner of the yacht. We have always have done this but we are now using more disinfectant type cleaners rather than ordinary surface cleaners. We have also been cleaning the headliners throughout the yacht with disinfectant. We provide plenty of liquid hand soap in each bath along with shower gel & shampoo. We have included these items by every deck shower as well.”
Captain Nicolas Chauvet of the sailing yacht AURELIUS shared “We always practice clean as you go over and over and are doing this even more frequently. The yacht is always cleaned with antibacterial and disinfecting soaps and cleansers, particularly in all high traffic areas.”
