Showcasing a variety of yachts available to charter in New England, the Newport Charter Yacht Show returns to the Newport Shipyard in June
Renowned for the pristine stretches of sandy beaches, captivating scenery and the charming colonial towns, Rhode Island plays host to the world yachting capital of Newport. The beautiful, sheltered harbor of Newport is situated in the heart of Narragansett Bay. Its central location offers easy access to the Cape and Islands and serves as a lively regatta platform. At the center of the action is the Newport Shipyard. As a full-service yard with the biggest lifts, cleanest facilities and the most dock space in town, the Newport Shipyard has become New England’s yachting hub, attracting the world’s most spectacular yachts.
For the second year in a row, The Newport Shipyard will proudly host the Newport Charter Show from June 19-23rd, 2017. The four-day event is dedicated to yacht charter professions- brokers, agents, owners, and captains/crew, highlighting a world-class display of luxury yachts (including four of Nicholson’s very own yachts) available for charter as well as the services and amenities available to support the yachts and their crew. To enhance the experience for the potential charter guests, on-land exhibitors whose products and services compliment the charter yacht lifestyle will also be on display at the charter show.
The Newport Charter Show will feature a variety of events such as: educational seminars conducted by industry experts, captain and crews; culinary competitions; private yacht luncheons; yacht hops; and happy hours.
