Industry veterans Mike Hutton and Dominic Byrne have joined forces with President Karen Kelly Shea, becoming partners in the iconic brokerage firm. The new partners are stepping into pivotal executive positions: Mike Hutton as Vice President of Charter and Dominic Byrne as Vice President of Sales. Mike Hutton joins the company with an impressive 24-year career in the yacht charter industry, where he has earned a reputation as a trusted and knowledgeable expert. Having previously led the charter divisions for some of the industry’s key players, he has a deep understanding of operations and client service, providing him with a unique perspective on what yacht owners, captains, and guests require for successful charter experiences. At Nicholson, he will lead the charter division, bringing his global perspective to every booking. 

Dominic Byrne’s background is a unique blend of technology and luxury yacht sales. Following a successful career in data communications, he transitioned to the superyacht industry, where his adventurous spirit and adaptability quickly made him an industry leader. He has held senior management positions and has been instrumental in developing sales and marketing strategies for some of the industries most prestigious luxury marine brands. Drawing on his extensive experience, he plans to harness emerging technologies in order to amplify Nicholson’s digital marketing footprint and extend their market penetration.
